GENERAL INFO

While we provide you with almost everything you will need, there are still some items that you will need to bring with you when you come to stay with us at Horseshoe Island camp.

SHOPPING LIST

  • MNR fishing license

  • Drinking water and food

  • Sleeping bag or other bedding. Bottom sheet, pillow and pillow case are provided

  • Flash light

  • BBQ lighter

  • Dish soap, cloth and towel

  • Toiletries, bath towel

  • Fishing rod and tackle

  • Fishing Net

  • Minnow bucket (if using minnows)

  • Camera

  • Rain Suit

​Our cottages are water access ONLY and have NO electricity. Don't bother packing that blow dryer, you won't need it. Your lights, hotwater tank, fridge, stovetop or oven all run off propane.

Also, please call us when you arrive in Matachewan.

 

This gives us a chance to send the float boat to the landing to meet you.
